Assistant Manager Procurement & SCM

Role Overview:
The position is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring solar components, equipment, and services to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery for our customers. This role plays a critical part in managing supplier relationships, optimizing procurement processes, and supporting the successful execution of solar projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
✔ Develop and execute procurement plans aligned with business needs.
✔ Build and manage a strong supplier network for solar projects.
✔ Optimize costs through market analysis and strategic negotiations.
✔ Ensure timely procurement and delivery within budget and quality standards.
✔ Leverage digital tools and ERP systems for seamless procurement operations.
✔ Conduct vendor assessments, audits, and performance reviews to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of solar components, industry regulations, and supplier networks.
• Experience of usage of ERP preferable
• Experience in contract negotiation, cost analysis, and logistics coordination.
