Sr Atlassian Consultant - Developer | enreap Sr Atlassian Consultant Developer

Jira Developer: 5 to 8 Years

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy custom plugins and extensions for Atlassian products to meet business requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Groovy scripting language to automate routine tasks and workflows within Atlassian tools.
Build Groovy scripts on Server and Cloud Platform according to client s requirements.
Deep knowledge of ScriptRunner with strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical team members.
Implement automation scripts and rules to streamline processes and improve productivity.
Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize plugin performance to ensure scalability and reliability.
Integrate Atlassian products with external systems and tools using APIs and webhooks.
Knowledge of the Cloud Hosting of Atlassian products.
Assist in the administration and configuration of Atlassian tools, including user management, permissions, and customization.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Atlassian tool usage, performance, and integration.
Customize and configure Atlassian tools to optimize workflow processes and improve user experience.
Develop custom workflows, issue types, and screen schemes to align with business needs.
Conduct code reviews and implement best practices to maintain code quality and performance standards.Create technical documentation, user guides, and release notes for developed plugins.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for plugin-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in plugin development for Atlassian products, with secondary experience in Atlassian administration tasks such as user management and customization.
Proficiency in Groovy scripting language and familiarity with Atlassian plugin development frameworks.
Strong understanding of Atlassian APIs, data models, and plugin architecture.
Experience in Atlassian Forge is a plus
Experience in creating and customizing JIRA tools and projects, using Core Java and Groovy.
Proficient in Jira Administrator tasks, including various schemas, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work in a team environment.
Atlassian certification (e.g., Atlassian Certified Professional) is a plus.
Experience in analytics, AI, and solutioning within the Atlassian suite is a plus
