About the role:
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Enphase Solar OM Engineering Team , your mission will be to design, develop and maintain cloud-based software services modules that cater to millions of users and process terabytes of data . This role requires hands-on development experience and the ability to design systems that handle real-world challenges.
Enable Enphase to succeed in Solar Energy domain by building application and services for various stakeholders of the company including homeowners, installers and customer support .
What you will do:
- Develop robust, maintainable REST APIs and microservices .
- Collaborate with product managers to understand user requirements.
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and ensure overall code quality.
- Participate in technical reviews to identify potential risks and improvements.
- Research and implement solutions for scalability and system optimization.
- Ensure software security best practices are applied during development.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of production systems.
Who You Are and What You Bring
- B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from top tier college and >70% marks
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Python and Postgres .
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles.
- Solid communication and teamwork abilities.
