Position Overview :

Enpass is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Technical Writer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating exceptional technical documentation that empowers our users and internal teams to leverage Enpass to its full potential. Enpass is a password manager designed to secure the digital life of both individual consumers and businesses globally.

It not only manages and creates strong passwords automatically but also fills them seamlessly across various platforms. Enpass has been featured by Apple and Google in their respective application stores and is recommended by global media.

About the Role :

In this role, you will be a strategic technical content leader, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to develop, maintain, and improve a comprehensive library of technical content.

Your expertise will extend beyond just writing, as you'll also guide and train engineering teams on documentation best practices and be a key player in shaping Enpass's long-term knowledge management strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

Create Clear and Concise Documentation :

- Write, edit, and maintain content including system overviews, user guides, knowledge base articles, tutorials, FAQs, technical bulletins, Newsletter and release notes.

- Demystify complex system configurations, tools, and processes for a variety of audiences.

- Independently drive, manage, and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

- Produce technical content based on user stories, feature requirements, developer input, and your own product expertise.

- Manage, create, and publish content in various formats (online help, PDFs, emails, ebooks and more ).

Champion Documentation Excellence :

- Collaborate closely with engineering leads to continuously improve documentation processes, discoverability, and long-term knowledge management.

- Guide, motivate, and train engineering teams on documentation creation and maintenance best practices.

- Proactively research product changes and update existing documentation accordingly. Verify documentation accuracy and relevance to ensure user success.

Collaborate for Success :

- Partner with product teams, management, sales, marketing, engineering, QA, and support to understand and fulfill diverse documentation needs.

- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of technical content, aligning with departmental initiatives and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Visual Communication :

- Create clear and concise content using visuals such as screenshots, flowcharts, diagrams, and potentially even video.

Knowledge Management Champion :

- Establish and/or maintain a document control system for managing approvals, tracking changes, and ensuring version control.

- Create and maintain internal knowledge base articles to capture solutions to common problems and user questions.

Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience as a technical content writer or similar role in a product-based company.

- Proven ability to create clear, concise, and engaging technical documentation for diverse audiences.

- Strong understanding of technical writing principles and best practices.

- Experience with technical content management systems (CMS) like RoboHelp, Confluence, or similar tools.

- Excellent research, information gathering, and communication skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across departments.

- Strong project management and organizational skills.

- Working knowledge of a scripting language like Python or JavaScript (a plus).

- Able to manage serveral assignments at once and meet deadlines under pressure.

- Passion for cybersecurity and password management solutions (a plus)
