Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist with 2-4 years of experience in AI and ML, with a specialization in Natural Language Processing (NLP), text analytics on the SAS Viya platform. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in AI and machine learning, extensive experience with SAS Viya tools (E miner, Visual Analytics (VA), and Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning (VDMML)), and a client-centric approach. Experience with cloud platforms is a plus, and proficiency in Python and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) is essential. This role requires a self-driven individual contributor with proven experience across multiple domains, providing the flexibility to apply data science solutions to various business challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

- Individual Contributor Role : Independently lead and manage end-to-end data science projects, including data preparation, model development, testing, and reporting.

- NLP and Text Analytics : Develop and implement NLP and text analytics models using LLMs to extract valuable insights from unstructured data.

- SAS Viya Expertise : Utilize SAS Viya tools, such as Eminer, Visual Analytics (VA), and VDMML, to perform data analysis, build machine learning models, and create visualizations.

- EDA and Model Development : Conduct thorough Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to understand data trends and prepare data for robust model building.

- Domain Versatility : Apply data science methodologies across multiple domains to address diverse business problems and provide relevant insights.

- Client Engagement : Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and effectively communicate findings.

- Model Deployment and Cloud Integration : Deploy models to production, with knowledge of leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data management and operationalization when applicable.

- Performance Monitoring : Ensure model accuracy, reliability, and integrity through comprehensive testing, validation, and ongoing performance monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Experience : 2-4 years in data science with a focus on AI, ML, NLP, and text analytics.

- Technical Proficiency : Strong Python skills for data science and machine learning, along with hands-on experience in EDA.

- SAS Viya Platform : Proficient in SAS Viya tools, specifically E miner, Visual Analytics (VA), and Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning (VDMML) for model building and analytics.

- NLP and LLM : Advanced understanding of NLP techniques, including text processing, sentiment analysis, and experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs).

- Individual Contributor : Demonstrated experience in independently leading projects from start to finish.

- Domain Versatility : Ability to adapt and apply data science techniques across various industries and business contexts.

- Client-Centric Approach : Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver insights to both technical and non-technical clients.
