Location: Noida and Bangalore (Hybrid)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hedge Fund Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fund operations, particularly within the alternative investment space (private equity, hedge funds), and a proven ability to manage investor onboarding, KYC/AML compliance, and subscription/redemption processes.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Investor Onboarding and KYC/AML Compliance:

- Manage the end-to-end investor onboarding process, including document collection, verification, and KYC/AML screening.

- Ensure adherence to all relevant KYC/AML regulations and internal policies.

- Collaborate with the compliance team to address any compliance-related issues.

- Maintain accurate investor records and documentation.

Subscription and Redemption Processing:

- Process subscription and redemption requests, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.

- Digitize and upload subscription documents onto internal platforms, maintaining data integrity and compliance.

- Coordinate with internal teams (Compliance, Risk, Legal) and external stakeholders (investors, fund managers, administrators) to facilitate smooth transaction processing.

- Monitor and reconcile investor account activity.

- Support daily fund operations, including trade processing, fund accounting, and reporting.

- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate workflows, improving efficiency and reducing operational risk.

- Collaborate with technology teams to optimize fund management systems and processes.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory changes.

- Prepare and distribute investor reports and statements.

- Analyze fund performance and investor activity.

- Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings.

Communication and Relationship Management:

- Communicate effectively with investors, fund managers, and other stakeholders.

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.

- Respond to investor inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

- 2-5 years of experience in fund operations, investor services, or related roles in the financial services industry, specifically within private equity, hedge funds, or alternative investment funds.

- In-depth knowledge of fund operations, including document digitization, upload procedures, and workflow management.

- Strong understanding of KYC/AML policies and their application to investor onboarding and compliance.

- Proficiency in using fund management systems such as SimCorp, Investran, or similar platforms.

- Experience with e-signature tools and fund subscription technology platforms.

- Familiarity with subscription agreements, redemption processes, and various fund structures.

- Strong ability to streamline processes, enhance workflows, and identify operational efficiencies.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficient in working with MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

- Relevant certifications such as CFA or CAMS are an added advantage.

- Experience in the Indian financial landscape and familiarity with its regulatory requirements.
