Engineering II-Emerging Commercial Platforms

What you'll be doing

As a Engr. II, you will be responsible for implementation and configuration of solutions for our SAP MDG S/4 modules. The candidate should have a good SAP MDG background in all modules of Material Master, Business Partner, Location Master and MDG Finance with good understanding of technical concepts. The ability to work little to no guidance and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Developing, testing, and implementing ABAP-based solutions in accordance with business requirements and best practices.
• Collaborating with business teams to gather requirements, provide solutions and recommendations and identify process and system opportunities of improvements
• Customize SAP MDG solutions, develop and maintain data models and UI configurations to meet specific business requirements
• Monitor data quality and implement data cleansing activities as necessary
• Creating and maintaining functional and technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
• Participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand master data needs and building and/or modifying data models based on the same.
• Participating process improvements, data accuracy checks and data redundancy checks and supporting the same

Where you'll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

You will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or one or more years of experience.
• One or more years of relevant hands-on experience as an SAP MDG consultant.
• Strong hold on all MDG areas - Material Master, Location Master, Business Partner in SAP S/4 HANA environment
• Understanding on data integration, data migration and data quality management
• Good understanding of MDG architecture and components
• Proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP development tools.
• Good knowledge of Interfaces Idoc, ALE, File RFC and BAPI
• Good knowledge of Enhancement techniques and Enhancement framework
• Ability to do debugging and troubleshooting custom as well as standard ABAP programs.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions within established timelines.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to propose innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• SAP certification in SAP MDG.
• SAP certification in ABAP development or related areas.
• Knowledge of CDS, OData, and ABAP 7.5.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
