Java Developer - Production Support

Role: Senior Java Developer/ Java Lead (Production Support)

Exp: 2- 8 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Shift: Night Shift

Work mode: 5 days WFO

Experience:

• Experience in Production support and development.
• Server-Side Development: Experience in designing and implementing server-side logic, APIs, and databases using Java.
• Database Management: Skill in working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• RESTful API Development: Experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• DevOps: Hands on experience in Devops tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace etc.
• Security Awareness: Understanding of security best practices in Java development.
• Cloud Hands-on experience in cloud environments such as AWS, Open Shift or Azure.
• Experience in managing and resolving incidents, with a focus on minimizing downtime and impact on business operations.

Job Description:

• Understand the client requirements and enhance existing application.
• Monitor production systems and applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Respond to incidents and alerts, diagnosing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement fixes and improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for critical incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Maintain documentation of production support procedures, incidents, and resolutions.
• Provide on-call support as needed, including after-hours and weekends, to address critical issues.
