Position: BI Developer

Experience: 5-8 years

Location : Chennai

Position Type: Full time

Qualification: Any graduate

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable solutions for ever-increasing data volumes, using SQL tools like SSRS, SSIS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Implement real-time data ingestion and processing solutions
• Better understanding of data analytics, database management and ETL tool like DataStage.
• Implement best practices for data security, integrity, and quality.
• Optimize and troubleshoot data-related issues for seamless operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Business Intelligence.
• Technical Expertise in the design, development, coding, unit testing, QA support, Production deployment and debugging the production issues/failures in SSIS/SSRS.
• Experience with databases and data warehousing concepts (Preferred MS-SQL)
• Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries.
• Working knowledge of Data warehousing, SCD concepts, Data modelling, Governance, and Data Architecture
• Hands On Experience in unix shell scripting
• Proficiency in designing and maintaining scalable data architectures.
• Experience with CICD Tools like GitHub/Azure devops

Communication:

• Facilitates team and stakeholder meetings effectively
• Holds regular status meetings / scrum meeting
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
• Astute cross-cultural awareness and experience in working with international teams (especially US)
