Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets for messaging and voice solutions. You will interact with senior executives, understand client needs, and position the companys products and services effectively to ensure maximum sales growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Sales & Lead Generation:
    • Generate new business leads for messaging/voice solutions through direct selling to enterprise clients and aggregators.
    • Proactively engage with potential clients to identify their needs, pain points, and propose relevant solutions.
  • Solution Selling & Cross-Selling:
    • Leverage knowledge of SaaS/CPaaS, Telecom, and IT Sales to sell messaging and voice solutions effectively to enterprise clients.
    • Cross-sell other products or services where applicable to meet client needs and enhance revenue streams.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at senior levels within client organizations.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales Targets & Reporting:
    • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as per company goals.
    • Track and report sales performance, market feedback, and client insights to senior management.
  • Team Collaboration & Problem Solving:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, and customer support) to ensure smooth execution of sales processes.
    • Use excellent problem-solving skills to address client issues and offer tailored solutions.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis:
    • Stay updated with the latest market trends, competitor strategies, and new technology solutions in messaging/voice.
    • Utilize this knowledge to offer innovative solutions to clients and maintain a competitive edge.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Any Graduate / Equivalent (MBA or MCA is preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Direct Sales/Business Development, preferably in SaaS, CPaaS, Telecom, IT Sales, or other solution-selling industries.

  • Skills:
    • Strong ability in solution selling and cross-selling.
    • Experience engaging with enterprise clients and aggregators.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to engage with senior-level executives and understand client requirements effectively.
    • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to present and sell solutions with confidence and clarity.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a client-first attitude.
