Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Provide leadership and direction for all operational aspects of the elder care service company, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and objectives.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance service delivery, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
    • Foster a culture of empathy, respect, and high standards of care within the organization.
  2. Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily operations of elder care services, including client assessments, caregiver scheduling, quality assurance, and resource allocation.
    • Monitor operational performance to ensure the efficient delivery of services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
    • Ensure that the company is operating within budgetary guidelines and achieving financial targets.
  3. Staff Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of caregivers, nurses, and administrative staff, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and equipped to provide exceptional care.
    • Develop staff schedules, manage staffing levels, and ensure compliance with industry regulations related to employee training and certification.
    • Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
  4. Client Relationship Management:
    • Ensure that the needs of clients and their families are met with professionalism, sensitivity, and respect.
    • Handle client complaints and concerns, providing timely resolutions and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, families, and stakeholders.
  5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that all services are delivered in compliance with regulatory standards, industry guidelines, and organizational policies.
    • Oversee the implementation of quality assurance programs to continuously improve service quality and safety standards.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to elder care services.
  6. Financial Management:
    • Manage operational budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
    • Contribute to the development of pricing strategies and cost-effective service delivery models.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the financial health of the company.
  7. Business Development:
    • Identify opportunities for expanding service offerings and growing the business.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to promote the companys services and attract new clients.
    • Participate in community outreach and partnerships to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of operational management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the healthcare or elder care industry.
  • Age & Maturity: The candidate should be 40+ years of age, bringing a wealth of experience, maturity, and the ability to mentor and guide a diverse team.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Nursing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders.
    • In-depth knowledge of elder care services, healthcare regulations, and quality assurance standards.
    • Financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and optimize resources.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to work under pressure.
