Senior Technical Writer

Develop Technical Documentation: Create, edit, and maintain user guides, release notes, API documentation, and online help systems using tools like MadCap Flare

Ensure Style Consistency: Apply established style guides, including Microsoft Manual of Style, to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with industry standards

Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, UX designers, and QA teams to gather information and ensure technical accuracy in documentation

Content Management: Manage content libraries and documentation repositories, ensuring version control and easy access for the team

Optimize for Users: Structure content for clarity and usability, keeping in mind the needs of diverse user personas and experience levels

Support Agile Development: Attend sprint planning, stand-ups, and demos to stay updated on product developments and adjust documentation priorities

Enhance Tools and Processes: Recommend and implement improvements in documentation processes, tools, and templates

Develop Multimedia Content: Collaborate on creating videos, infographics, and tutorials to supplement text-based content

Primary Purpose We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Technical Writer to join our dynamic team

In this role, you will create high-quality documentation to support our software products and ensure content consistency across all platforms

Your expertise in tools like MadCap Flare, familiarity with industry style guides such as the Microsoft Manual of Style, and strong collaboration skills will be critical to our success

Qualifications Required Skills and Experience Minimum of 8 years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in software development environments

Expertise in MadCap Flare, Microsoft Word, and content management tools

Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, SnagIT, Canva, and other graphic editing tools is a plus

Strong understanding of Microsoft Manual of Style

Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise, and user-friendly content

Experience working in Agile environments with collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence

Excellent command of English, with strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills

Ability to work with cross-functional teams, synthesize feedback, and ensure alignment with business goals

Capable of managing multiple documentation projects, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks effectively

Required Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field

Certification in technical writing or equivalent relevant experience
