QA Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers in defining, executing, and reporting on test plans.
• Participate in requirement gathering, user story discussions, and design reviews to identify and address potential quality issues early in the development cycle.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans covering various types of testing (functional, performance, accessibility, etc.) aligned with project requirements and risk assessments.
• Automate test cases using scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Design and develop robust test automation frameworks for API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects reported during testing.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend improvements to testing processes and strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the QA team's efficiency and effectiveness.
