Business Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Project Management:
• Lead new WMS (Warehouse Management System) and TMS (Transport Management System) implementations, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget.
• Create and execute project plans, defining clear goals, timelines, and milestones, utilizing tools like Jira for project tracking.
• Track project progress, proactively identify and address roadblocks, and communicate updates to stakeholders through collaborative platforms like Confluence.
• Technical Expertise:
• Perform Level 1 and 2 WMS configurations.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications using tools like Postman for API testing.
• Analyze client requirements and suggest configurations/customizations for logistics applications.
• Evaluate tools and technologies used in operations to optimize their ROI.
• Process Optimization:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current logistic processes and identify pain points.
• Design and document optimized To-Be processes, adhering to best practices and industry standards. Utilize tools like Trello for Kanban-based process visualization.
• Perform Fit-Gap analysis to assess the alignment of proposed solutions with client needs.
• Knowledge Transfer & User Enablement:
• Develop and deliver training materials and conduct sessions for users on new systems and processes.
• Document processes and procedures clearly and concisely for ongoing reference and training purposes.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.
• Develop and implement solutions to address issues, increase efficiency, and maximize productivity.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze trends to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
• Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
• Convert business requirements into well-defined functional and non-functional requirements through workshops and interviews.
• Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) using industry-standard templates.
• Communication & Collaboration:
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including operations teams, IT teams, developers, and clients.
• Actively listen to understand needs and concerns, and communicate clearly and concisely to ensure alignment.
• Act as a liaison between various teams to facilitate smooth information flow and project collaboration.
