JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the AVP of Strategic Initiatives, Solutions & Proposals, the Associate Director - Strategic Payer Presales Lead is the primary point-person accountable for the creation of winning solutions and proposals for our strategic Enterprise customers in the Payer space. The Associate Director - Strategic Payer Presales Lead collaborates with members of the Payer Enterprise team, Sales, Studio Market and Delivery Leads, etc. to understand a solution's requirements and scope, acquires SME contributions, constructs solutions and proposals, and supervises the efforts of more junior team members. Efficient delivery of solution deliverables, effective quality control, clear communication of expectations to stakeholders, and upward reporting to senior management are critical tasks that must be performed throughout each solution's lifecycle. In addition, the Associate Director - Strategic Payer Presales Lead provides management, leadership, and guidance within the Solutions & Proposals team, and works closely with other solution stakeholders to continuously improve processes.
The Associate Director - Strategic Payer Presales Lead position is a pivotal role in the creation of high-quality solutions and proposals for Emids. The Associate Director - Strategic Payer Presales Lead works under general direction and is responsible for combining mature technical skills with tactical leadership skills to contribute to the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of all work completed under their guidance.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Act as Solution leader for strategic Payer Enterprise accounts.
- Participate in Account Planning, identifying possibilities for proactive proposals, and gaining awareness of upcoming opportunities and timelines.
- Manage expectations with Sales/CPs regarding Solutions & Proposals team bandwidth.
- Lead solutions for large deal opportunities.
- Co-ordinate and supervise team members in fulfilling solution and proposal needs of enterprise accounts, ensuring deliverable quality and timeliness.
- Liaise with the delivery team to ensure creation of Case Studies to support further Demand Creation
Wider Team/Organization:
- Provide day-to-day management of strategic Payer Enterprise account team within Solutions & Proposals Team
- Act as a technical point of contact for questions/support within the Solutions & Proposals Team.
- Provide technical leadership to Solutions & Proposals team members through mentorship and coaching
- Lead initiatives to improve the Solutions & Proposals practice and fuel an accountability/ownership mindset among team members
- Facilitate conversations and manage expectations with the wider organization regarding the Solution & Proposal team practices
- Support recruitment efforts related to the Solutions & Proposals team

Qualifications:
- Educational background in Computer Science or equivalent
- MBA from a premium management institute preferred, or significant Presales experience
- 15+ years of experience in a Lead Development and/or Management Consultant role
- Experienced with professional services and consulting for healthcare companies
- Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, its challenges and opportunities, with specific subject matter expertise in the Payer vertical
