Engineer/ Sr Engineer (Service and Projects)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Engineer/ Sr. Engineer (Projects and Services) with a broad experience within process industry and automation projects to cover the following categories:

• Designing, engineering and commissioning of RTU and SCADA/ HMI system, Batch Controller Unit, Flow Computers.
• End to End Project Execution from Sales Hanover, designing and engineering of the system, coordination with the customer/ procurement/ manufacturing/ Quality/ Commercial teams/ Engineering Center, dispatches, commissioning and after sales services.

If you consider yourself as a quick learner, having good programming skills, with a proven technical knowledge of RTU/ SCADA/ HMI, flow computer, BCU, field instruments etc and this sounds like an opening to you! In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Detailed knowledge of RTU, SCADA, HMI, Flow Computers, BCUs and having prior knowledge of programming and commissioning of RTU/SCADA/HMI, Flow Computers and BCUs
• End to End Project Execution from Sales Hanover, designing and engineering of the system, coordination with the customer/ vendor/procurement/ manufacturing/ Quality/ Commercial teams/ Engineering Center, dispatches, commissioning and after sales services including
  • Development of project documentation and receiving approvals from the customer.
  • Align with quality assurance procedures
  • Deliver works within agreed timeframes.
  • Identify deviations from agreed functionality/ scope and discuss with Operation Leader
  • Erection Supervision, Commissioning of System at Site, if needed.
  • Identify the areas/ opportunities to secure variation orders from customer.
• Work ethically in compliance with Emerson standards.
• Should be able to work independently.
• Work as an individual contributor and as a team member and gel with the existing team.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Graduate Engineer (Electronics and Communication / Instrumentation/ Automation)
• Knowledge of RTU/ SCADA/ HMI/ BCU/ Flow Computers.
• Exp: Minimum of 4-6 Years of service/project experience of system based on RTU/ SCADA/ HMI/ BCU/ Flow Computers.
• Excellent knowledge of at least one Distributed Control System.
• Proficient in PC skills and application software like MS Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
• Understanding of project life cycle from concept to commissioning.
• Understanding of customer need and translating it into technical solution.
• Analytical problem solver with excellent Communication, presentation, interpersonal and prioritization skills; well-organized and detail oriented.
• Excels at self-managing workload and implementing multiple concurrent projects to meet deadlines.
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization to meet achievements.
• Ability to deal with conflicting priorities from internal team members and demonstrate resilience and strong influencing skills to manage these effectively.
• Confidence and interpersonal/communication skills to work and influence at all levels.
• Experience of working in matrix organization.
• Willing to travel in the region (30 to 40% of the time).
