Job Description
Must have skills:
- Have worked in large scale Cloud based projects for minimum 5 years .
- Proficiency in one or more cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with design patterns specific to cloud computing, such as microservices architecture , serverless computing, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems design.
- Done extensive programming in Java, Java script, Python and have good understanding of design principles.
- Involved in backend development using Java Springboot, NodeJS deployed to cloud.
- Have a good understanding with Frontend - ReactJS
- Good understanding of Databases, Schema design for SQL, No SQL based databases - MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Cassendra etc.
- Have expertise in container technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Understanding of version control systems like Git
- Having experience in Industrial IoT or Connectivity for Automotive applications would be preferable.
SECONDARY SHOULD HAVE
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager can help these professionals define and manage cloud resources programmatically.
- Know how to use configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. These tools help automate the configuration and provisioning of cloud infrastructure components.
- They are also familiar with cloud load balancers and content delivery networks (CDNs).
- knowledge of cloud-native security features like network security groups (NSGs), firewalls, distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection
- Should be proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate routine tasks, deploy infrastructure, and manage cloud resources programmatically.
- Leverage infrastructure automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to automate configuration management, provisioning, and deployment processes,
- They should know industry-specific compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 and know how to implement controls to comply with them.
- Keep up to date with developments on current cloud computing solutions and processes.
- Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on using and accessing data on the cloud, especially during major transfer, updates, or changes.
- Serve as the cloud architect subject-matter expert for the marketing team and at company webinars, trade shows, and panels.
