We are expanding and looking for an experienced Head of Sales Marketing to join our team and drive growth across India and international markets. This role is pivotal in leading our sales and marketing efforts, acquiring new clients, and strengthening our brand in the tech industry.
Job Summary
The Head of Sales Marketing will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve Embedtech s growth targets. This individual will oversee the sales and marketing teams, lead customer acquisition efforts, and work to build the Embedtech brand.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution
Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth across product lines.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, especially in corporate, education, and healthcare sectors.
Build and maintain a sales pipeline, set targets, and drive the team toward meeting these goals.
Marketing Strategy and Brand Development
Develop and lead marketing strategies to position Embedtech as a technology leader.
Oversee digital marketing, content creation, and brand visibility efforts to generate leads.
Create go-to-market strategies for new products and manage promotional campaigns.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Lead contract negotiations and manage complex sales processes with government agencies and institutions.
Ensure high client satisfaction and foster repeat business opportunities.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
Provide insights to the product and RD teams to guide innovation and enhancements.
Team Leadership and Development
Build and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team with a focus on excellence.
Set performance targets, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching and feedback.
Budget Management and Reporting
Prepare and manage budgets for sales and marketing, ensuring cost efficiency.
Report to the CEO on sales performance, market trends, and team metrics.
Key Qualifications
Education : Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record in B2B2C sales and team leadership.
Industry Knowledge : Experience in the technology or electronics industry is highly desirable, particularly with B2B sales in Corporate , Education, or Healthcare sectors.
Leadership Skills : Proven ability to build and develop teams, achieve targets, and drive results.
