About the Project: We are looking for a Kubernetes Cloud Platform Engineer to join a long-term project for a major airline company.
The objective is to work on the deployment, scaling, and optimization of Kubernetes clusters across Azure and Google Cloud environments.
This role will be pivotal in driving the cloud infrastructure transformation while providing guidance and coaching to a distributed team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters on Azure AKS and Google Cloud platforms.
Ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of Kubernetes environments.
Lead the deployment, scaling, and optimization of cloud infrastructures using Kubernetes and Terraform.
Coach and mentor a team of engineers in France and the Netherlands, helping to upgrade their Kubernetes skills.
Collaborate with Agile teams to support the construction of CAAS (Container as a Service) and PAAS (Platform as a Service) solutions.
Oversee the transformation and migration of Apache Tomcat applications in cloud and on-premise environments.
Requirements: Strong experience working with Kubernetes in cloud environments.
Proven expertise with Azure AKS and Google Cloud deployments.
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Knowledge of VMware Tanzu, CAAS/PAAS platforms, and Apache Tomcat transformations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to coach and mentor engineering teams.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
