WebSpiders - GCP Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Docker/Kubernetes (5-10 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Google Cloud Engineer to join for our client.

The ideal candidate need to have a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture, along with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions.

As a Google Cloud Infra Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

Qualifications :

- Candidate should have valid GCP certification (Mandatory).

- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience with core focus on Google Cloud Platform.

- In-depth knowledge of GCP services, architecture, and networking concepts.

- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Deployment Manager, or equivalent.

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.

- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed environment.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

- Google Cloud certifications (e. Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Configure and maintain GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.

- Develop automation scripts and templates for provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of cloud resources using tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or equivalent.

- Should have proven expertise to administer the full GCP stack in troubleshooting and debugging during Implementation or at the run and maintenance phase.

- Should be capable to administer Windows & Standard Linux flavours.

- Implement best practices for cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of cloud infrastructure.

- Stay updated with the latest GCP features, services, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes on GCP.

- Capability to explore GCP services and choose correct service for the requirement.

- Capable to handle multiple compute instances, instance templates, MIGs (stateless & stateful), TCP ILB, HTTP(S) LB, GCS buckets, IAM, Autoscaling, secret manager and Shared VPC.

- Capable to design and Implemented complete Cloud Architecture solution as per requirement and integrate applications.

- Through knowledge about Teraform , bitbuckets , Kubernetes , GCS , etc
