Job Description

Role Overview:

Elixia Inc. is seeking an energetic and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in Mumbai. As an operations and sales executive you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base for our marketplace product. You will focus on creating opportunities and executing transactions with the new prospects. Working closely with the sales teams, you will engage with prospects to understand and qualify their business requirements and help execute transactions with the empaneled service providers.


Responsibilities:

  • Creating Opportunities: Liaise with sales and marketing teams to run campaigns through emails, calls, WhatsApp and social media (LinkedIn) to spread awareness about our product and continuously onboard shippers and transporters on the platform on a monthly basis.
  • Qualifying Opportunities: Qualify the incoming enquiries based on standard operating procedure within the stipulated time from enquiry generations.
  • Collaboration with Partner: Ensure seamless KYC process and verification of shippers and transporters as per the standard operating procedures. Work towards executing the enquiry and ensuring transaction by liaising with the transporters, shippers and internal team to achieve revenue growth.
  • Data Hygiene: Accurately track and manage all external interactions, follow-ups, and activities.
  • Reporting: Track key metrics such as transaction success, TAT for enquiry qualification and response, lost opportunities with reasons, etc.

Expected Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a sales and/or operations role preferably from the transport and logistics industry.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and educate prospective customers.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with relevant tools and platforms (LinkedIn, MS Office, etc)
  • KPI Focused: Strong understanding of the logistics industry and focused on maximising successful transactions via Elixias platform.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to understand customer requirements and quickly qualify the same.
  • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills to work closely with other departments and empanelled partners to contribute to overall business growth.

Requirements:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in outbound sales tools and CRM platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage high volumes of outbound reach and data hygiene.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving measurable results.
