Fullstack Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and experienced Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both server-side and front-end logic, ensuring smooth integration of web applications and microservices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and robust solutions. This role demands strong technical expertise combined with an understanding of high-level design and low-level design.

Role & responsibilities

• Full Stack Development:
  Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and front-end logic with frameworks like React.js (optional). Collaborate with the product and design teams to deliver highly scalable, user-friendly solutions.
• API Development and Integration:
  Build and optimize RESTful APIs using frameworks like Express.js and Nest.js to ensure seamless data exchange between services.
• Database Management:
  Design and maintain database architectures using MySQL, MongoDB, and optionally Cassandra. Ensure optimized performance and data integrity across systems.
• DevOps & Cloud:
  Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines. Work with Docker, Kubernetes (optional), and AWS for containerization and cloud services deployment.
• Event-driven Systems:
  Implement message queues with Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka (optional) to handle real-time data and microservices communication.
• Testing and Debugging:
  Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborative Development:
  Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to ensure projects meet deadlines and business goals. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Node.js, DevOps, and cloud services. Identify opportunities for system enhancement and performance improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Languages:
  Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Frameworks:
  Proficiency in Express.js and Nest.js. React.js experience is a plus but optional.
• Databases:
  Experience working with MySQL, MongoDB, and optional knowledge of Cassandra.
• DevOps & Cloud:
  Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS services. Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
• Messaging Tools:
  Familiarity with Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka (optional) for microservices communication.
• Architecture Design:
  Good knowledge of High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
• Testing & Version Control:
  Familiarity with any unit testing framework and version control tools such as Git.
• GenAI Tools (optional):
  Basic knowledge of AI/ML integration using GenAI tools is an added advantage.
