Job Description: Business Development Manager / Sales Manager
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager with 7-10 years of proven expertise in managing outreach campaigns and leading teams of SDRs to generate new customers and partners in assigned geographies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and developing relationships with new partners and customers, scaling up the business, and leading the team to achieve ambitious sales targets. This role requires someone who is strategic, collaborative, and open to traveling to build strong connections with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for assigned geographies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Oversee outreach campaigns run by the SDR team, ensuring high engagement and conversion rates.
  • Create and execute plans to identify, engage, and close new customers and partners.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Manage and mentor a team of SDRs, providing guidance on campaign execution, lead qualification, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Set performance goals for the team and monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Customer and Partner Development:
  • Identify and build relationships with potential customers and partners in the given geographies.
  • Negotiate and close partnerships and sales agreements to expand the business footprint.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key customers and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Travel and Onsite Engagement:
  • Be willing to travel to assigned regions to meet with customers and partners for relationship building, negotiations, and business reviews.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and explore new opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment:
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging, campaigns, and product positioning with market demands.
  • Provide regular feedback to internal teams on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and report progress to senior management.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and outreach campaigns.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in managing SDR teams and running successful outreach campaigns.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in creating new partnerships and acquiring customers in diverse geographies.
  • Tools Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive, ZOHO or Similar) and outreach tools (e.g., Apollo.io or similar ).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt strategies to changing market conditions.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Travel Willingness: Open to frequent travel to assigned geographies to meet customers and partners.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with international markets
  • Knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) and other sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific trends and competitive landscapes.
