Vice President (Finance & Accounts)

1. Financial Strategy, Accounting, and Budgeting

• Develop and execute financial strategies to optimize business performance and profitability.
• Ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting with a complete audit trail for timely audit completion.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to support strategic planning and business expansion.
• Manage financial operations without reliance on external borrowing while ensuring timely payments and cash flow stability.
• Implement robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and compliance policies.

2. Costing and Financial Management

• Conduct project costing and financial analysis for large-scale projects ensuring profitability despite market volatility.
• Implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives, optimizing financial performance across various business functions.
• Drive the automation and optimization of financial processes, including E-Invoicing, Fixed Asset Register, and monthly closing in SAP, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

3. Procurement and Vendor Management

• Oversee procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing of goods and services.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating better pricing, extended credit limits, and favourable terms.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure strategic material sourcing, price locking, and logistical efficiencies, optimizing costs.

4. Contract Finalization

• Lead contract negotiations with vendors, clients, and service providers, ensuring compliance with financial and legal requirements.
• Draft and review agreements to mitigate financial risks and protect the companys interests.
• Ensure alignment of contract terms with company policies and industry regulations.

5. Litigation & Compliance

• Manage legal matters and litigation related to government bodies, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
• Handle legal proceedings, dispute resolutions, and regulatory challenges.
• Ensure all tax, financial, and operational regulations are met, including GST, Customs, SEIS, and MSMED compliance.

6. Cash Flow and Liquidity Management

• Strengthen receivables management and optimize the vendor payment cycle for efficient cash flow.
• Negotiate and enhance vendor credit limits to support financial stability and business expansion.
• Implement cash flow forecasting, monitoring, and optimization strategies to ensure financial sustainability.

7. Compliance, Audits, and Stakeholder Management

• Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, Customs, SEIS, and other government audits.
• Navigate multiple government audits with zero discrepancies impacting cash flow.
• Take proactive legal measures for the recovery of disputed dues through the MSMED forum and other legal channels.
• Provide regular financial insights and reports to stakeholders, covering statutory compliance, SWOT analysis, cash flow trends, and financial performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: CA or equivalent financial qualification.
• Experience: 15-20 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing, Engineering & design Industry.
• Technology: Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, financial modeling, and reporting tools.
