Design Engineer - Mechanical Design - Machine Division

Role & responsibilities

1. Work on design concept development
2. Preparing part/assembly model, component and assembly drawings.
3. Work out design calculations for project
4. Preparing BOM and releasing drawings for project/order
5. Plan design work as per project schedule
6. Support for manufacturing/ assembly for given project.
7. Maintaining project documents as per ISO requirements

Preferred candidate profile

1. B.E.(Mech.) with 5-10 years of experience.
2. Hands on experience of working on designing similar machines.
3. Products / in similar industry i.e. Machine Manufacturing (SPM, Press Machines, Tube Bending Machine)
4. Proficient with 3d software Auto-cad, Creo,(Hands on experiance in Creo will be an advantage).
5. Good logical and analytical skills.

Technical Competencies

1. Modelling/ drafting / assembly of mechanical parts, GD&T.

2. Knowledge of basic mechanical elements

3. Elementary design calculations

4. Concept layout development

5. Basic knowledge of materials , manufacturing process
