Sales Engineer - Machine Sales

Roles and Responsibilities

• To market Tube benders, Hydraulic Presses, Angle Punching machines & SPMs in the western region
• To help customer choose the right machine for their application by explaining all features
• To understand customer requirements and translate it into machine specifications
• Should be able to search government tenders.
• Tendering Documentation.
• To handle all customer communication, technical offer preparation independently
• Connect with the existing and past customers for new enquiry generation/ Lead generation
• Prepare techno-commercial offers and quotations based on enquiries received after discussion and guidance from the Head Business Development and Sales.
• Customer support during order execution
• Monitor competition strategies, actions and movements in the market and Develop a network to get data on competition for providing information to the Management on developing counter strategies
• Analyze order loss data for reasons, corrections and improvements so as to not lose orders in the future

Desired Candidate Profile

• BE Mechanical with 3-6 years of experience in sales and marketing in a Machine manufacturing Industry.
• Pleasant personality and good people skills.
• Should be fluent in verbal & written English to handle all Sales correspondence independently.
• Should be willing to travel
• Awareness of Sales Processes (Enquiry handling, Offer preparation, Government Tenders, Tendering Documentation, Negotiation)
• Customer awareness (familiarity with relevant Auto component mfrs, locational familiarity)
• Should have effective interpersonal skills.
