Our company is growing rapidly and is looking to fill the role of manual tester. Primary duties will include manual testing of new feature enhancements in addition to regression testing of overall application. The candidate should comfortably make decisions and work both independently and as part of a small, dynamic team where everything the candidate does makes a difference.

While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of experience in manual testing
• Define, execute, and analyse test cases collaborating with the team to validate achievement of acceptance criteria
• Track defects and bugs using client defect tracking system, track resolution progress, and validate resolutions once submitted
• Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing – with stakeholders including QA Manager and Scrum Master
• Work well under pressure with deadlines
• Display flexibility and proficiency at setting priorities
• Maintain up-to-date the test cases after some requirement changes were required
• Work with relevant people with regards to test preparation, test execution, test data and tool usage
• Plan and coordinate all cycles of testing, including functional-level system tests business scenario-based testing, to ensure proper test coverage while mitigating redundancy where possible
• Participate in daily scrums features planning discussions
• Be responsible for the whole software testing lifecycle (analysing the business requirements, support in preparing the test plans, creating the test cases, monitoring bugs, checking bug fixes)
• Should be flexible to work on different shifts based on requirement
• Should have interest in adapting to automation testing

Manual Testing Deliverables

• Test plans and test cases
• Comprehensive documentation and reporting of identified bugs
• Test data for test cases
• Test scenarios and configurations

Desired Experience

• Degree in Computer Software or related fields
• 2 years experience in software testing, including functional and regression testing
• Experience in Windows, iOS, and mobile apps
• Experience with responsiveness and cross-browser testing
• Multi-OS familiarity including Windows, OS X, iOS, and Android
• Experience working with software development lifecycle tools, such as Jira, DevOps Azure, and Zephyr (test case management)

Experience/Knowledge in application automation like Selenium/Cypress/similar tools or Performance testing tools like JMeter/K6/similar tools will be an added advantage
