Manual Test Engineer

Position: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic
team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing
methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for identifying defects.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project
requirements.
● Conduct manual testing across various platforms, including web, mobile, and
desktop applications.
● Identify, document, and report bugs and defects using appropriate bug-tracking

tools.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of deliverables and
resolve issues in a timely manner.
● Participate in requirement analysis, design reviews, and sprint planning meetings.
● Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
● Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall
product quality.
● Key skills: mobile app testing, web app testing, knowledge of the back end and
experience with tools like Postman
Qualifications and Skills:
● Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
● Proven experience in manual software testing, preferably in [specific
industry/sector].
● Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
● Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

● Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
