IT System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage and maintain the organization's Windows and Linux operating systems for optimal performance and security.

-Oversee and optimize AWS environments, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and network configurations.

-Plan, design, and manage Office IT Infrastructure & data center Infrastructure.

-Monitor IT Infrastructures performance and ensure uptime, reliability, and security compliance.

-Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service agreements.

-Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and security updates across IT infrastructure.

-Develop and execute disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity plans.

-Troubleshoot complex system, network, and cloud issues, ensuring minimal downtime and prompt resolution.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable IT solutions aligned with business goals.

-Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, data center layouts, and troubleshooting processes.

-Mentor junior IT staff and provide technical leadership to the team.

-Act as the primary point of contact for vendor communication, service escalations, and SLA management.

Key Attributes:

-Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT administration with a focus on Windows OS, Linux OS, AWS, and data center management.

-Strong knowledge of Data Centre Management, IT infrastructure, including server setups, networking, and virtualization.

-Strong leadership and organizational skills.

-Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

-Proactive and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering reliable and high-quality solutions.

-Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

-Strong interpersonal skills for effective vendor coordination and team collaboration.
