Job Description: Estimation, Costing, and Bidding Engineer (132 KV and 220 KV Substations)
Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic Estimation, Costing, and Bidding Engineer to join our team, focusing on 132 KV and 220 KV substation projects. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of relevant experience and a strong background in electrical engineering. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of technical specifications, and the ability to effectively engage with customers. Exposure to civil work for substations will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to understand their project requirements and provide competitive bids for AIS 132 KV and 220 KV substation(PSS /GSS) projects.
• Develop and present comprehensive bid proposals to clients, ensuring clarity and alignment with their expectations.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the bidding process, addressing any queries and providing regular updates.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure that cost estimates align with project goals and client expectations.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure they meet project specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations for different Transcoms, and best practices to provide informed advice to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech).
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in estimation, costing, and bidding for substations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer engagement.
• Proficiency in vendor management and negotiation.
• Familiarity with civil work related to substations is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
