Qualification: BE/B Tech in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation engineering throughout >60% marks with a creative & innovative mindset.

Essential Skills:

i. Basic knowledge of PLC,HMI,SCADA & their programming languages

ii. PID Control

iii. Basic knowledge of low voltage switchgear & selection criteria

iv. Basic knowledge of VFD,Servo Motion & control

v. Basic knowledge of communication protocols

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Effectively handling all aspects of engineering activities encompassing project appraisal.
• Independently designing, developing the controls of the machines & coordinating the Process Planning activities for various Projects.
• Handling kick of meetings with vendor and with customer. Ensure floating of enquiries, vendors bid evaluation, technical recommendation, field instruments selection and vendor drawing approval, inspection for different types of Systems / field instrumentation.

Vendor Evaluation

• Evaluating techno commercial proposals of vendors.
• Evaluating vendor work quality.

Electrical System Design

• Understanding the machine specifications from the customer & PO.
• Designing of electrical control circuit in compliance with global directives & standards.

• Safety Control circuits design in compliance with EN ISO 13849-1.
• Selection of switchgear, power & control cables in compliance with EN-61439, EN-60947.
• Design of PLC system architecture including suitable interface with 3rd party devices.
• Development of Standard operating procedure from Purchase order stage to completion stage.

Programming & Technology Development

• PLC program development in accordance with IEC 61131-3.
• SCADA programming, report generation, Data base management.

Risk Assessment & CE, UL Certification

• Risk assessment of control system in accordance with PL (a,b,c,d,e) & safety categories.(1,2,3,4).
• Preparations of technical construction file for CE compliance & certification.
• Safety report generation through tools SISTEMA, PASCAL
