Assistant Manager Logistics & Procurement at IGI Airport

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from suppliers to Importing entities of Celebi.
• Oversee the selection and management of transportation carriers, negotiating contracts to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
• Create and execute logistics plans that align with companys plans
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement measures to reduce logistics expenses without compromising service quality.
• Ensure all logistics operations comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring reliable and timely delivery of goods.
• Continuously assess and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, key metrics, and areas for improvement.
• Address and resolve any issues or disruptions in the logistics process, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements:

• It is Regional Procurement Job in Celebi and person would be responsible for pan India procurement on assigned duties and would have opportunity to work as Shared Services Procurement team member
• Person would be responsible for procurement jobs for all entities of Celebi in India.
• Proven work experience as similar roles. Preference would be given to candidate having service procurement and revisions and repairs procurement exposures and experiences
• Must have proven track records on quality supplies and cost containment on procurements
• Must have working experience in SAP MM Module
• Good knowledge of vendors, sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
• Understanding of supply chain procedures
• Solid analytical skills to conduct cost analyses
• Negotiation skills
• Checks invoices for accuracy, and authorizes the accounts payable department to issue payment
• Evaluates the performance of vendors and MIS for decision making
