Planning Engineer

"Project Documentation - Interior Fit out" job description:-

creating, maintaining, and managing all necessary documentation throughout an interior fit-out project, including design plans, project schedules, cost estimates, compliance reports, and site progress updates, ensuring accurate and detailed records of the construction process while adhering to industry standards and client specifications; often collaborating with designers, contractors, and project managers to facilitate smooth project execution.

Role & Responsbility:

Document Creation and Management:

Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as design drawings, technical specifications, site layout plans, material selections, and construction schedules. Prepare detailed project reports including progress updates, cost breakdowns, and quality control reports.

Update and revise documents as needed to reflect changes in design or site conditions. Site Observation and Reporting:

Regularly visit the site to document progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project plans. Capture photographic evidence of construction phases and any deviations from the design. Create detailed site reports highlighting progress, challenges, and necessary corrective actions.

Communication and Coordination:

Collaborate with the design team, contractors, project manager, and client to ensure all documentation aligns with project goals. Facilitate communication between different stakeholders by distributing relevant documents and updates. Address any discrepancies or conflicts in documentation and propose solutions.

Compliance and Quality Control:

Ensure project documentation adheres to relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Monitor quality control measures by reviewing documentation related to material specifications and workmanship.

Project Closeout:

Compile final project documentation including as-built drawings, handover reports, and project completion certificates. Archive project documents according to company procedures.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design software

Strong understanding of construction practices and interior design principles

Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in technical documents

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Experience in the interior fit-out industry preferred .
