Medical Billing Executive

Role & responsibilities

Review and submit medical claims to insurance providers

• Follow up on unpaid claims and denials
• Communicate with insurance providers to resolve claim issues
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage
• Accurately enter billing information into the system
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding their medical bills
• Stay up-to-date with medical billing regulations and coding systems
• Collaborate with the billing team to ensure timely reimbursement of claims
• Provide support to the healthcare providers in billing related matters

Preferred candidate profile

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
