Knowledge Centre India (KCI):
Knowledge Center India (KCI) is the central engine that drives the operational value for the firm. Established in 2004, KCI has evolved over the years from purely operational efficiencies into more value-added service offerings, becoming a true business partner. There are various teams based at KCI that work with Global Offices, Practice Groups, and the Management across all aspects of the firm's business life cycle. With a headcount of more than 500, the center has 5 core teams working including Experts, Research Operations, Visual Solutions, Projects/CV Capture and Digital IT, working round the clock on many missions critical elements.
The Position:
- Your role involves leading the HR Business Partnering and talent engagement practices of the firm by collaborating with HR and Business leadership. You will be responsible for managing people processes spanning the entire employee life cycle, from onboarding to exit. You will spearhead employee engagement initiatives and partner with business leaders to drive talent retention.
- Additionally, you will play a key role in Learning and Development, ensuring the continuous growth and development of our employees through comprehensive training programs and initiatives.
Position Reports to: Head Human Resources
The key aspects of your role are as follows:
- Lead the design and implementation of highly effective, results-driven talent engagement and people practices by collaborating with business stakeholders and the global HR community
- Lead initiatives to engage employees throughout their lifecycle, from onboarding to exit.
- Develop programs to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and retention.
- Manage employee onboarding and orientation. Conceptualize and lead initiatives to enable early integration of new joiners to the role and Firm culture.
- Coach and mentor managers and team leaders on effective performance management and leadership practices.
- Regular connects with colleagues across different teams and organizational levels to understand employee sentiment and address concerns.
- Leverage the listening tools available such as Employee Engagement Survey, Exit Interviews and Chatbot to gain more insight into employee engagement and discover areas of opportunity.
- Review and draft HR policies and processes in line with business needs and aligned with labour regulations.
- Provide guidance, counsel and support to employees and managers on employee relations matters and workplace concerns.
- Lead the implementation of processes related to employee grievance handling, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, investigations and resolution of employee issues.
- Respond to employee grievances and concerns in a timely manner and offer solutions.
- Responsible for employee engagement and communication efforts such as townhalls, offsites, team building events, focus group meetings, team huddles, employee helpdesks.
- Lead the planning and execution of performance management processes from goal setting to year end performance evaluation and promotions
- Drive the Diversity and Inclusion initiatives of the firm.
- Engage with business leaders and employees to identify key training requirements.
- Create a consolidated view of training needs for different roles and functions through interactions and performance data analysis.
- Lead the design and delivery of behavioral, compliance, people manager, leadership trainings - virtually or in classroom sessions as required.
- Design and lead management workshops and offsites.
- Create insightful reports and analysis of data to examine employee attrition. Recommend actions and interventions to problem solve challenges from time to time.
- Demonstrate passion for the people agenda of the firm and partner in designing and implementing robust and progressive people practices.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and implement necessary adjustments to HR policies and practices.
- Support and guide the Employee Resource Groups (ERG) by providing HR perspective and budgetary input for planning and execution of ERG events and programs.
Learning and Development Responsibilities:
- Identify and address training needs across the organization.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs aligned with business goals and employee career development.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and other learning events to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using metrics and feedback.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
- Collaborate with external training providers and educational institutions to bring in specialized training and development programs
Required knowledge/experience:
- Master's degree (Full time) in Human Resources from a reputed institute.
- 14 to 15 years of experience in Human Resources with minimum 5 years into team management.
- Proficient in Indian labour laws and compliance norms.
- Hands on experience of managing PIP and Disciplinary actions.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and expertise with MS-Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
