React Lead

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced React Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in React and related technologies, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of managing and delivering complex web applications. As a React Tech Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the development team, ensuring the highest standards of code quality, and driving innovative solutions to meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of React developers.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and high quality code.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

2. Project Management:

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.

3. Technical Expertise:

• Design and architect scalable, robust, and secure web applications using React.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporate them into the development process.
• Implement and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines.

4. In-depth Knowledge of Front-end Technologies:

• Expert-level proficiency in React and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux Toolkit, React Router, React Hook Form, React Table).
• Strong understanding of JavaScript ES6+ features and capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processors like SASS or LESS.
• Experience with front-end build tools and module bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and ability to work closely with designers to implement design systems.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

5. UI Component Libraries and Frameworks:

• Proficiency in using and integrating component libraries (e.g., Material-UI, Ant Design).
• Experience building and maintaining custom component libraries.
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS for utility-first styling.
• Understanding of how to create reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components.

6. Testing and Documentation:

• Proficiency with testing frameworks and tools, such as Jest and Enzyme.
• Experience using Redux Toolkit for state management.
• Expertise in using Storybook for developing and documenting UI components.
• Ensure thorough testing of applications and components, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of the codebase and architecture.

7. Code Quality and Best Practices:

• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices within the team.
• Ensure the application meets high standards of performance, reliability, and security.
• Lead efforts to improve the overall codebase, including refactoring and technical debt management.

8. Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document technical designs, decisions, and code to ensure maintainability.

9. Client and Stakeholder Management:

• Act as a technical liaison between the development team and clients or internal stakeholders.
• Gather feedback and requirements to inform continuous improvement of the product.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in web development with a focus on React.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux Toolkit).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
