Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Receivables Associate to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess 5-6 years of hands-on experience in managing accounts receivable functions, including AR invoicing, AR pricing, AR analysis, and overall financial reconciliation. The role will require expertise in financial reporting, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to interact with both internal teams and external clients. The position is based in Kochi, and we are open to candidates willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:

• AR Invoicing & Pricing: Oversee the preparation and distribution of customer invoices. Ensure that all invoices are accurate and compliant with company policies and client contracts. Manage AR pricing for various accounts and ensure correct application of rates.
• Accounts Receivable Analysis: Regularly perform detailed analysis of the aging AR reports, identify outstanding payments, and work with customers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Provide actionable insights to senior management on AR performance and trends.
• Collections & Follow-ups: Drive the collections process by ensuring timely payment collections. Manage accounts that are past due, and actively communicate with clients to resolve payment issues.
• Account Reconciliation: Ensure regular reconciliation of AR accounts, working closely with both internal departments and clients to clear discrepancies. Monitor and resolve any unallocated or disputed payments.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual AR reports to management. Track KPIs related to AR, including DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), bad debt provision, and cash collection forecasts.
• Process Improvements: Suggest and implement process improvements for AR workflows, ensuring greater efficiency and accuracy in the accounts receivable function.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Work cross-functionally with sales, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth invoicing, timely collections, and efficient resolution of any AR-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in accounts receivable, with a strong focus on AR invoicing, AR pricing, and AR analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of AR processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (advanced level).
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
