Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Job Description:

The Accounts Assistant is a position reporting directly to the Accounts Manager of EFS Logistics. Supports accounts department by filing documents, reconciling statements, managing credits, preparing vendor payment schedules, and doing other accounts-related work.

Responsibilities:

• Sending reminders via emails & phone calls and until the due amount is transferred. Escalating as per the below table.
• Upon payment received from the customer acknowledge receipt of payment after coordinating with the cashier.
• Providing necessary supporting docs as requested by the customer during follow-up in coordination with operations/sales and ensuring these are submitted in the shortest possible time.
• Providing Salesmen their respective Customer Balance Due Report/Ageing report, twice a month.
• Balance confirmation, from each Customer/Agent, twice a year.
• Asset confirmation from all staff twice a year.
• Preparing a List of Weekly Expected Receivables.
• Maintaining proper records of all Accounts and updating the last follow dates of each account.
• Allocating receivables immediately upon receipt and notifying rectification of accounts.
• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.

Requirements:

• Good Communication in English and Arabic language reading is an added advantage.
• Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

Qualification:

• B.com(CA) or B.com(PA), or Diploma in Accounting.
