Job Title: Management Intern - Financial Planning & Strategy Intern

Location: Andheri, Mumbai (In office work)

Duration: 3 Months

Reporting To: Director & Senior Accountant

Stipend- 40k to 70k (Based on the Interview)

Role Overview:

Efficient Group of Companies, comprising Efficient Innovations and Efficient Plastech Pvt Ltd, is seeking a self-motivated and proactive MBA intern to support our strategic financial planning efforts. The intern will work across both companies, contributing to financial modelling, business plan development, and external funding strategies, with the opportunity to work independently on key projects. This internship will provide significant exposure to both product innovation in FMCG sectors and precision plastic manufacturing, while also enabling the intern to make a meaningful impact on the groups growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Financial Modelling & Projections:

• Independently structure and develop financial models for the growth strategy of both Efficient Group
• Prepare detailed financial projections, including revenue forecasting, operational costs, and cash flow analysis.
• Assist in creating valuation models and reports for potential external funding and investment opportunities.

2. Business Plan Development:

• Take ownership of drafting key sections of the business plan for both companies, focusing on financial forecasts, funding requirements, and growth strategies.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities for the companies expansion into new industries and sectors.
• Collaborate with senior management to refine and update the business plan based on evolving goals and market trends.

3. External Funding Planning:

• Assist with preparing pitch decks, financial documentation, and presentations for external investors.
• Research potential funding sources and draft strategies for securing capital to support the groups future growth.
• Contribute to the preparation of funding proposals for the groups expansion plans, especially in new industries.

4. Project Management & Reporting:

• Take ownership of tracking and managing key deliverables and milestones related to financial and strategic planning projects.
• Regularly report on progress and challenges to the Accounts Head, ensuring that deliverables are met on time.
• Create a final project report summarizing the work completed during the internship, along with recommendations and insights for future strategies.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with teams from both Efficient Innovations and Efficient Plastech Pvt Ltd to ensure alignment in financial modelling and business planning efforts.
• Present financial findings and strategic recommendations to leadership, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA from a reputable institution.
• Strong foundational knowledge in finance, business development, and strategic planning.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling tools (experience with valuation methods is a plus).
• Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for creating reports and presenting findings.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to a dynamic business environment.

• Independent Project Work: The intern will be expected to handle tasks independently with minimal supervision, delivering concrete outputs like completed financial models, business plans, and funding strategies.
• Learning and Exposure: The intern will gain hands-on experience in structuring financial plans, developing business strategies, and preparing for external funding in both the manufacturing and innovation sectors.
• Measurable Deliverables: The intern will be expected to complete key deliverables such as financial models, business strategies, and funding proposals that will contribute directly to the companies growth.
• Final Project Report: At the end of the internship, the intern will be required to submit a detailed project report, outlining work completed, challenges faced, and strategic insights for the companies' future growth.
• Pre-placement Opportunity: Based on successful performance, the intern may be considered for a full-time position post-internship.
