Role Overview: The IT Consultant will drive CGSOS s digital transformation by implementing technology- driven solutions to improve student enrollment, e-learning, examination management, and data analytics. The role requires developing scalable, low-cost IT interventions to support learners across urban, rural, and tribal regions of Chhattisgarh.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Develop an automated online student registration system (mobile-friendly, accessible in regional languages). Integrate Aadhaar-based authentication & real-time tracking of student records. Set up SMS/IVR-based notifications for students in remote areas.
Implement an LMS (Learning Management System) that supports self-paced learning. Ensure offline access to study materials, recorded lectures, and assignments. Work with district coordinators to set up tech-enabled study hubs across 33 districts.
Introduce computer-based test (CBT) solutions for open school students. Automate result processing, certification issuance, and grievance redressal. Align CGSOS records with DigiLocker/National Academic Depository (NAD) for seamless certification access.
Develop real-time dashboards for tracking enrollment, dropout rates, exam performance, and learning progress. Ensure data security and compliance with government IT policies. Train CGSOS staff on IT system management & troubleshooting for sustainability.
B. Tech in Computer Science/ Master of computer application (MCA)/ Post-Graduation in IT /Bachelor of computer application (BCA)/ PGDCA.
Minimum 5 years experience in the technology field with a demonstrable track record in Tech Application (website/Mobile) development.
1+ years of software project management experience, having led at least 1 end-to-end Tech application (website/Mobile) development project.

Open to traveling to program geographies for better requirement understanding. Fluent in English and Chhattisgarhi, preferably a resident of Chhattisgarh (Raipur) or willing to
