OTT Editorial Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle client and/or partner media profile(s) and channel(s) taking full responsibility of their end-to-end requirements
• Work on bulk media files for Kids specific content, Hollywood & International movies, Bollywood movies/songs, tv episodes, lifestyle content, online vlogging content, YouTubers,  web series etc
• Understand descriptions, watch trailers, research and do exhaustive tagging and content categorization
• Understand & Ensure only high quality content is ingested to the system
• Ensure timely ingestion of the media with proper age group tags, age appropriate rating, compelling thumbnails/posters etc
• Understanding of Children's Internet Protection Acts, Privacy Rules, Family Content Rights etc
• Take full responsibility of client channels, including reviewing, maintaining, enhancing & marketing
• Create curated and handpicked programs / playlists while monitoring ever-changing viewer trends based on detailed data analysis
• Watch for market trends and competitor strategies in the genres that pertain to assigned client/channels and then implement if applicable
• Set and meet traffic target for such channels through creative thinking and proven methods
• Confidently analyze high volume content / traffic data in xl, and then communicate data-based strategies with all stakeholders
• Continually Implement new ways of analyzing high volume traffic data, and content exposure strategies while keeping focus on the main goal of increasing watch time and revenue
• Effectively monitor and test all strategies, constantly improving the channel and adjusting strategy as needed
• Manage, maintain and document all data related to assigned clients/channels
• Report successes and learning opportunities to other team members and cross functional teams in a manner that increases the skill of the collective team

Desired Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in handling Kids specific and movies & Tv content, in any new media, connected TV or OTT platforms
• Clear understanding of the edutainment and entertainment audience and what they want
• In-depth understanding of the US audience and their preference towards such content
• Passionate about international Kids or Movies & TV verticals and online media such as YouTube
• In-depth understanding of taxonomy/categorization/Genres and how it works
• Ability to research and figure out genres/category details and tag or categorize the content effectively
• Good understanding of new media, Connected TV, OTT platforms, IPTV, Smart TV and mobile apps and good understanding of such technology usage
• Exceptional working knowledge of xl, filters, functions, pivot tables, and formulas is essential. 
• Ability to analyze high volume data using xl features. Excel VBA knowledge or experience is a bonus.
• Experience with and good working knowledge of Google Drive Apps: Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, Slides, etc. Google sheets functions, formulas, filters, etc is a must. Knowledge of Google Apps Script is a bonus.
• Prior experience with Monday.com or other project management tools and/or integration tools such as Zapier or Make is a bonus.
