We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Student Counsellor to join our team at EDGO International

As a Student Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting students throughout their study abroad journey

You will be responsible for providing personalized counselling services, helping students make informed decisions about their education, and ensuring a smooth and enriching experience.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

1 to 3 years of experience in student counselling or a related role

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with students

Knowledge of study abroad programs, universities, and visa processes

Familiarity with scholarship and financial aid options for students

Ability to assess students' academic and personal backgrounds and provide appropriate guidance

Organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team

Empathy towards students

Roles And Responsibilities

Provide personalized counselling services to students, helping them explore their education options and make informed decisions

Assist students with the application process, including document preparation, review, and submission

Assess students' interests, skills, and goals to recommend suitable study abroad programs and universities

Provide guidance on visa requirements, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and progress

Coordinate with universities and other educational institutions to facilitate student admissions

Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in the field of study abroad and higher education
