The Role:
- Are you ready to take your career to the next level and lead a cutting-edge EdTech company into a bright future? We are looking for a visionary and detail-oriented leader (leadership position) with expertise in Quality Assurance.
- As the Leader of QA, you will be the owner of the entire Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) while also ensuring timely delivery of software projects throughout implementation, removing bottlenecks along the way by ensuring efficient collaboration and communication of relevant stakeholders.
- You will work closely with technology leadership, to maximize efficiency and deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities (QA):
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test strategies and plans, that aligns with company objectives and own its execution
- Lead the STLC process, including effort and cost estimation, to ensure efficient and effective testing outcomes
- Manage QA resources across multiple projects, ensuring optimal allocation and adherence to deadlines without compromising quality
- Define, own and execute QA processes that are efficient and aligns with organizational goals
- Leverage cutting-edge technology and tools to enhance QA processes and maintain technological leadership in the market
- Upskill QA team through training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct monthly performance reviews for QA team members, providing constructive feedback, setting goals, and recognizing achievements to foster professional growth and development.
- Drive the adoption of automation within the QA team to reduce repetitive tasks, enhance efficiency, and expand test coverage, ensuring a streamlined and effective testing process.
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with stakeholders to implement beneficial changes
Requirements:
- Five years of leadership experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
- Strong man management with a proven ability to hire top talent
- Strong managerial experience with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Extensive expertise in SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in Scrum and Kanban frameworks
- Demonstrated leadership in QA team management with strong accountability for product deliveries, deep commitment to Agile best practices, and entrepreneurial thinking with a bias for action
- Expertise in analyzing business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases with attention to detail
- Proven ability to create test strategies, plans, and detailed cost estimations
- Proficiency in manual testing across web, mobile, database, and API platforms
- Knowledge of security testing principles and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Strong focus on delivering products that exceed customer expectations in usability, performance, reliability, and user experience
- Familiarity with MongoDB, complex database querying, AWS, and modern automation tools
- Understanding of DevOps practices, with seamless integration of QA processes
- Proficiency in data analysis and identifying root causes for continuous improvement
- Adaptable mindset, staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
