Quality Assurance Engineer - Python (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and other relevant tools and frameworks.

- Design and implement robust test frameworks and methodologies to ensure code quality and product reliability.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and identify potential testing scenarios.

- Perform thorough functional, integration, and regression testing to uncover defects and ensure software meets quality standards.

- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and technologies.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and practices.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong proficiency in Python programming language

- Experience with Java programming language

- Extensive experience with RESTful API testing

- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies (e. black-box, white-box, integration testing)

- Proficiency in using testing frameworks (e., PyTest, JUnit, TestNG)

- Experience with Git, GitLab, or GitHub for version control

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e. , GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)

- Understanding of containerization technologies (e., Docker, Kubernetes)

- Experience with workflow management platforms (e., Airflow)

- Proficiency in reading and understanding various source code languages and software patterns

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Effective communication and collaboration skills

- Passion for quality and a drive to deliver exceptional results

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with performance testing and load testing tools

- Knowledge of security testing and vulnerability assessment

- Certification in software testing or related fields
