Job Objective
We are looking for an experienced IT engineer to work with our engineering team to maintain IT solutions. You will be responsible for debugging IT Infra stacks, resolving day to day system issues such as internet connectivity, printers, scanners, phones, and other equipment
Primary Responsibilities
1. Providing phone, email, remote, and in-person support to troubleshoot various technical problems
2. Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, peripherals, and networking equipment
3. Resolving issues with internet connectivity, printers, scanners, phones, and other equipment
4. Performing troubleshooting to diagnose system failures and identifying root causes
5. Managing technology inventory and placing orders for equipment
6. Escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams if unable to resolve them independently
7. Providing new system orientation and training to end users
8. Documenting technical issues and solutions in a ticketing system
9. Installing updates, known as patches, to software applications
10. Installing and configuring operating systems, anti-virus software and other applications such as Microsoft Office
11. Diagnosing and fixing network problems and hardware or software faults
12. Maintaining inventories of hardware and software
13. Keeping a record of issues and faults along with solutions, for future reference.
14. Prepare and submit monthly reports for the IT Manager.
Desired Skills
1. 4+ Years experience in IT support, asset management, ticket management.
2. Experience in Inhouse infra management.
3. Must have outstanding knowledge of computer hardware systems.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
6. Should have a thorough knowledge of wireless networks and LAN.
Qualification and Experience requirements
1. Graduate.
2. 5 to 7 years of IT infrastructure management experience, preferably on large IT projects.
