Technical Expertise:
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT.
- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ELT/ETL design.
- Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in DBT core and Snowflake-specific features (clustering, partitioning, etc.).
- Familiarity with Python and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop scalable data solutions using Snowflake and DBT
- Lead the design and implementation of ELT/ETL pipelines, ensuring best practices in data modeling.
- Design and manage Snowflake database structures, tables, and schemas.
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, including query optimization and workload management.
- Implement strategies to enhance the scalability and reliability of data systems.
- Manage system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to maintain smooth operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures.
