Job Title: Snowflake Developer with DBT Expertise

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer with expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based data solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to develop robust data models, pipelines, and workflows within the Snowflake ecosystem. This role requires hands-on experience in Snowflake architecture, SQL scripting, and DBT framework, along with a strong understanding of data warehousing best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and efficient Snowflake data models and pipelines using DBT.
• Implement and maintain ELT/ETL processes to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through partitioning, clustering, and query tuning.
• Create and maintain reusable DBT models, macros, and workflows to ensure data consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, testing, and monitoring processes.
• Implement data governance standards and maintain compliance with security protocols.
• Stay updated on advancements in Snowflake and DBT technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience:
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Snowflake Developer.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, SQL, and query optimization.
• 2+ years of experience working with DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Proficiency in ELT/ETL processes and data transformation techniques.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration tools (e.g., Airflow, Matillion).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Python or other programming languages used for data engineering.
• Experience with analytics platforms and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Certification in Snowflake or DBT is a plus.
