Eclat Engineering - Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Selenium/Appium (2-3 yrs)

About The Role :

To design, implement, and execute testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, the candidate will be instrumental in driving our software quality assurance lifecycle, collaborating with development teams to establish test strategies, and developing automated tests to uphold our stringent quality benchmarks, thereby reducing manual regression efforts.

By integrating tests into the CI/CD pipeline, the candidate will ensure that software releases are reliable and of high quality. Additionally, the candidate will troubleshoot and diagnose issues in systems under test, contributing to the continuous improvement of the software development process.

What Describes You Best :

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 2 to 3 years experience in Automation Testing.

- Experience of working on SAAS /enterprise products is preferred.

Technical Skills: (must have) :

- Sound understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle and methodology

- Hands-on experience with test Automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver (with Java), Cucumber, Appium, or TestNG

- Proven experience in test automation using Java scripting language

- Strong Understanding of DOM

- Good experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

- Hands-on experience with any of the bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. GitLab, Jira, Jenkins, Bugzilla, etc.)

- Experience with API testing (Postman or Similar RESTClient)

Additional Skills : (nice to have)

- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter

- Knowledge of Serenity BDD Framework

- Knowledge of Python programming language
