Job Description and Responsibility Structure
Designation: Sr Manager / Chief Manager Corporate Affairs, Ministerial Advocacy (Centre and State) and Industry Associations advocacy.
Experience: 10 -15 Yrs.
Location: New Delhi
The Sr Manager / Chief Manager – Corporate Affairs will report to Ex Vice President – Corporate affairs and will identify and develop relationship matrix at Centre and state government especially IAS and IPS lobby. The required candidate should have handled advocacy initiatives with various Industry associations in the Financial Sector and Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Exposure to various LEA (Law enforcement agencies at the center Government is an added advantage.)
At the Centre level the candidate will develop and maintain relationships at various Ministries under GOI especially at Ministry of Corporate affairs and Ministry of Finance (All the Divisions especially DFS, Revenue and DEA) for the organization. The candidate will build and maintain good PR with all the PS /PPS / OSD to Secretary, Director, and undersecretary level officers. The candidate should have handled Industry advocacy initiatives with Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Corporate affairs.
Relevant Profiles: Lawyer, Journalist, Public Policy Professionals, Public Affairs and Corporate affairs Professionals, Professionals from Industry Bodies and think Tanks.

1. Interact and engage with Industry associations like FICCI and CII. Interact with various internal stake holders and to build and execute an advocacy plan with the government.
2. build and maintain working relationships with the PS of all relevant officers in the ministries.
3. keep track and update the senior management on all important transfers and promotions in these ministries.
4. organize meetings of the senior management with important officers of the ministries
5. The Candidate will coordinate with various internal stake holders on issues pertaining to the organization.
6. The candidate should be able to mitigate any risk in close consultations with legal and senior Management.
Skill Sets: Candidate should be: -
1. Highly effective oral, written and interpersonal communications skills; demonstrate ability to effectively and comfortably interact with external stake holders.
2. Maintain highest personal levels of ethical conduct, confidentiality and integrity with strong professional reputation in the industry.
3. Ability to influence, negotiate with and persuade others is required. Must be flexible and demonstrate strong judgement /decision making skills and political acumen. Should demonstrate ability to build and foster effective relationship and network with others.
4. Should be well versed with departmental anatomy of these ministries /LEA.
5. should be well versed with various Microsoft office tools.
6. The Candidate should have continuous learning skills.
7. The Candidate should have both process and result driven abilities.
8. The candidate should be self-driven and create his own job.
