Role Overview: This position supports the daily operations of a facility, ensuring it is maintained to a high standard. This role involves managing and supervising staff, implementing standard operating procedures, maintaining equipment and systems, and facilitating communication between departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees and manages the technical staff s daily operations consisting of corrective and preventative maintenance for critical building systems, automation controls and valves directly relating to HVAC, electrical.
Manage staff transportation for all employees with help of transport staff & vendors.
Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
Handles general accounting tasks, such as coordination with accounts payable, payroll, petty cash, and budgeting.
Works to achieve facilities budgets. Strikes balance between cost outs & employee satisfaction.
Manages and reviews service/vendor contracts.
Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.
Maintains quality of jobs performed by vendors and contractors via inspection & timely guidance.
Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees.
Ensure Uptime of the facility with fully operational utilities.
Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work and assist with checking installation and servicing of building equipment.
Maintain stock levels and parts within budget.
Coordination with developer onsite maintenance staff to maintain upkeep & uptime.
Coordinate with service providers to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Assist in managing the facilities budget, tracking expenses, and preparing cost estimates for repairs or upgrades.
Implement and monitor energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and promote environmental sustainability.
Coordinate space planning with real estate team and office moves to optimize the use of space.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
Liaise with security personnel to develop and enforce physical security protocols.
Should have skills to coordinate with Real estate & projects teams.
Attending facility related internal/external audits.
Handling canteen management, big outdoor events (Family Day etc.)
Senior Oversees guests visit coordination.
Candidate needs to have technical diploma / degree and relevant experience of 10+ years.
Knowledge of building / facilities technical systems and maintenance.
